NBA 2K24 Reveals Ratings For Top Players And Rookies

NBA 2K24 Player Ratings Revealed: Top Spot Goes to Denver Nuggets Center Nikola Jokić with a Rating of 98

It’s that time again for NBA 2K fans. As is tradition, 2K is gradually unveiling the player ratings for NBA 2K24, sparking discussions among fans and building anticipation for the game’s release on September 8.

While Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokić claims the top spot with an impressive rating of 98, it’s rookie Victor Wembanyama who is stealing the spotlight. The San Antonio Spurs’ number one pick has received a rating of 84, making it the highest rating ever given to a rookie in NBA 2K history. Previously, Kyrie Irving and Zion Williamson held the record with ratings of 81 on their debuts.

“That’s nice, that’s alright,” Wembanyama said in a video where his rating was revealed. He assured Ronnie 2K that his rating would surpass 90 by the end of the season “for sure.” Fans have been quick to compare Wembanyama’s high rating to other top players’ rookie years. LeBron James debuted with a rating of 78, while this year’s top player, Nikola Jokić, had a rating of 68 in his rookie year.

Aside from the rookies, the top spots in the NBA 2K24 player ratings are occupied by several familiar faces. Jokić claims the highest-rated player spot with a 98, followed closely by Giannis Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid, and LeBron James, who all share a rating of 96.

On the women’s side, WNBA cover star Sabrina Ionescu has received a respectable overall rating of 90.
