Mortal Kombat 1 bug gives player one the advantage, causing problems across all modes

Mortal Kombat 1 Bug Gives Player One an Unfair Advantage

In a surprising turn of events, a bug has been discovered in Mortal Kombat 1 that could potentially impact every character in the game, granting an advantage to player one. The bug was uncovered by Mortal Kombat 1 player and YouTuber mrAPchem, who revealed that player one has the ability to execute certain combos that player two cannot.

mrAPchem shared a video demonstrating the bug in action, initially believing it only affected the character Sub-Zero. However, further investigation revealed that this issue could be affecting every character on the game’s roster. The bug has been observed both in single-player mode and online multiplayer matches, which could cause frustration for players. You can watch mrAPchem’s video below to see the affected combos in detail.

Other players have also reported encountering the bug across different platforms. On the Mortal Kombat 1 bug reports page, players have commented on their shared experiences, emphasizing the urgency of resolving this issue. One player stated, “Just tried to reproduce this bug and I got it to work 100% of the time. This is horrifying for a fighting game and needs to be resolved immediately.” Another player added, “This affects Steam as well, I can reproduce this with a Mileena combo…I’m sure there will be a case for every character on the roster at this rate. This issue should be of the highest priority!”

Fortunately, it appears that the issue is currently under investigation. However, developer NetherRealm Studios has not yet addressed the bug publicly, so it remains uncertain when a fix will be implemented. We will keep you informed of any updates regarding this matter.

Unfortunately, Mortal Kombat 1 has been facing other challenges recently. The Nintendo Switch version of the game has received criticism due to its poor performance and visuals compared to other platforms. Additionally, the game was released on the Switch without key content, which Warner Bros. Games plans to add at a later date.

To exacerbate the situation, fans noticed that the official Switch launch trailer appeared to include PC footage instead of Nintendo Switch gameplay, leading to accusations of misleading consumers. Although the trailer has been removed from Nintendo’s official YouTube channel, neither the publisher nor the developer has addressed the issue.

Mortal Kombat 1 is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
