Second Wave features a diverse range of game modes, including Domination, Three-Way, and Stonegrab. Alongside these exciting challenges, you’ll encounter a cast of unique and charming characters. Each character has their own captivating abilities and fascinating stories to uncover.
Whether you prefer to play as a tough tank, a fearless warrior, a cunning ranged dealer, a mystical mage, a stealthy assassin, or a reliable support, Second Wave has the perfect character to suit your playstyle. Additionally, you can choose between the intensity of first-person combat or the tactical advantage of a third-person view. Your choice can greatly impact your journey towards victory.

It’s important to note that Second Wave is still under development, and this beta is part of the development process. As a result, you may experience some instability, crashes, slow matchmaking times, or disconnects during the preview. This beta does not represent the final game, and your progression will not be saved for the released product. However, we are continuously working to enhance the game and optimize our infrastructure.

How to Participate:
- Sign-in on your Xbox Series S|X console and launch the Xbox Insider Hub app (or install the Xbox Insider Hub from the Store if needed).
- Navigate to Previews > Second Wave Preview.
- Select Join.
- Wait for the registration process to complete, and you’ll be directed to the Store page to install the Preview.
Playtest Times:
Start: October 5th, 5:00 PM PT (12:00 AM GMT)
End: October 15th, 5:00 PM PT (12:00 AM GMT)
Note: Due to a last-minute issue, the playtest start time has been delayed. Users can still join the flight and install the title, but it will require an update before the playtest begins.

If you encounter any issues while playing the Second Wave Preview, please remember to use the “Report a problem” feature so that we can investigate:
- Hold down the home button on your Xbox controller.
- Select Report a problem.
- Select the Games category and the Second Wave Preview subcategory.
- Complete the form with the necessary details to assist our investigation.
