How Long is Lords of the Fallen – Answered

Lords of the Fallen, the highly anticipated game, is on its way to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. As is customary with Souls-like games, players are curious about the game’s length. How long can players expect their journey to be?

While game length is not everything, the experience offered by an epic game tends to leave players wanting more. There’s a sense of disappointment when a game concludes just as the excitement builds up.

Fortunately, it seems that Lords of the Fallen won’t fall short in this aspect. Saul Gascon, the studio boss at HexWorks, addressed the game’s length in a hands-on session with MP1st. Drawing from the development team’s own experience, Gascon revealed that the game has a runtime of “30 plus, more or less.”

Comparing it to other notable games released in 2023, like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Starfield, which boast extensive gameplay, 30 hours may not sound like a significant duration. However, these games are outliers that are not released every month. It’s important to note that the 30-hour estimate only includes the main campaign and serves as an average. Some players may complete it in less time, especially once they become familiar with the game’s world, while others may take longer.

It’s also worth considering the presence of a New Game Plus mode that the developer promises will hold “quite a few surprises.” Even after completing the main campaign, players will find reasons to return and embark on new adventures, as well as test their skills in the game’s challenging environments. After all, that’s what makes gaming truly exciting.
