In an exciting Halloween update, Toby Fox, the creator of Undertale, has shared the latest news about the upcoming chapters of Deltarune. The wait for Chapter 5 will be over soon, as Fox stated that there will be “no more waiting” for its release.

The New Strategy and Progress

Instead of releasing each chapter individually, Fox’s new strategy is to release Deltarune for purchase once Chapter 4 is completed. This decision aims to provide a more seamless experience for players. Fortunately, Chapter 3 is “nearing completion,” and many developers have already started working on Chapter 4.

Chapter 4 is already shaping up nicely, with a “substantial amount of cutscenes and enemy work done.” Additionally, Fox has hired a new producer to help speed up the development process of future chapters.

As a special treat, Halloween marks the fifth anniversary of Deltarune. To celebrate this milestone, Fox conducted interviews with some of the development team members to reminisce about their journey.
