How to Get Silver in Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria

In Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, unlocking higher tiers of weapons, crafting recipes, and upgrades requires rare resources. One such resource is Silver Ore, which is essential for Tier 3 crafting and farming recipes. However, players have been struggling to find Silver in the game, as there are no tutorials explaining its location. In this guide, we will provide you with the best farming spot to easily obtain Silver Ores.

Where to Find Silver in Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria

The best location to find Silver in Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria is the Lower Deeps, which can be accessed through the Crystal Descent or the upper levels. However, you will need to repair the Crystal Causeway first in order to reach this location. To repair the Crystal Causeway, you must spend 30 Natural Fibers and 15 Black Diamonds. Once you reach the Lower Deeps, you will find various minerals, including Silver, Iron, and Bronze. Mine the Ihraz Granite to obtain Silver.

It’s important to note that you cannot mine Silver with a Steel Pickaxe. Instead, you will need to craft a First Age Pickaxe. Here are the prerequisites for crafting this Pickaxe:

  • Steel Pickaxe
  • Steel Ingots
  • First Age Pickaxe Crafting Recipe
  • Repair The Great Forge of Narvi

Once you have completed the prerequisites, gather the following resources:

  • 3 Steel Ingots: Obtain by mining Iron Ore and Coal deposits
  • 4 Ubasam Wood: Loot from Mushroom trees in the Lower Deeps
  • 1 Black Diamond: Loot from Orkish chests, defeating bosses, and killing enemies in Hordes
  • 1 Gem Cutter: Requires 10 Ubasam Wood, 10 Stone Blocks, and 3 Steel Ingots

You can use the fast-travel option to quickly search for these resources. Once you have gathered all the necessary resources, use a Forge in your Hearth’s area to craft the First Age Pickaxe.
