Just last week, Nintendo surprised no one with the announcement of the Switch OLED bundle featuring a digital copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. However, a recent image circulating on Twitter suggests that a different bundle might be on the horizon.

The collector Twitter account @DisTrackers recently posted a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate OLED bundle, which includes a special OLED model Switch with Smash-logo Joy-Con, a digital copy of the game, and a three-month subscription to Nintendo Switch Online. While the original post claims this bundle will be available at Walmart, it’s important to note that Nintendo has not yet made any official confirmation.

Introducing an alternative bundle like this makes a lot of sense for Nintendo, especially during the holiday season. It presents an attractive option for those interested in getting an OLED Switch and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as the console continues its lifecycle. While the dock from the previous Smash Ultimate bundle may not be included, it’s exciting to see the return of the Smash-themed Joy-Con.

Although Nintendo has only confirmed the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe OLED bundle, the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate bundle seems plausible. We’ll have to wait for an official announcement to learn more about release dates and prices.
