In Phantom Blade Zero, the gameplay seems to consist of fast-paced melee battles and boss fights with various enemies. Phantom Blade Zero story and setting

In Phantom Blade Zero, players take on the role of Soul, an elite assassin working for a powerful but mysterious organization called “The Order”. Injured severely, he is healed by a mysterious healer, however, this healing only lasts for 66 days. This sets the stage for him to seek revenge on his enemies within a limited time frame.

The game is set in a semi-open world and is based in the Universe known as Phantom World, which is the setting for other games from the developer. Details about the story have not been fully revealed yet. As more information about Soul and his quest for vengeance is disclosed, we will update this section.

As per Gematsu, Phantom Blade Zero is set to receive a 30-minute demo in 2024. This announcement was made during the ChinaJoy 2023 stage presentation on July 30, 2023.
