Palworld has entered early access and rapidly attracted over a million players in just a few hours. As the game gains momentum, the Palworld roadmap becomes increasingly important. What can players expect from this breakout indie success?

We’ve been eagerly anticipating details of the Palworld roadmap, and luckily, Twitter has provided some insight. While an official roadmap has not been released, a recent Tweet has given us a glimpse of what’s to come.

Quality of life settings

Naturally, one of the main areas of focus for early access and full release games is quality of life. The roadmap addresses improvements to Pal functionality and key configurations, as well as various bug fixes that have been identified through extensive playtesting during the early access phase of Palworld.

New additions

Of particular interest are the upcoming additions to Palworld. As the game is still relatively basic, the future looks promising for players.

• PVP – the introduction of a PVP mode will pit player against player to really discover which the best trainer/slave driver of them all is.
• Raid Bosses – These are planned as endgame content for when all the challenges, Pals, and bosses have been defeated. These are in the Palworld roadmap for the elite few to take down as a team.
• PvP Arena – Pit your Pals against other players to see if your breeding fusion and training have paid off.
• Xbox/Steam crossplay – As of yet, there is no crossplay, but the Palworld roadmap promises it in the not-too-distant future.
• Xbox Functionality – There have been a few problems with the Xbox version of Palworld lacking behind the Steam one. This should bring them up to speed.
• Server Functionality – Palworld is dedicating itself to being a functioning online game in its roadmap. The improvements to server migration and transfer will only make it easier.
• Building System – You may have found the building system lacking and a little buggy. These improvements will make the base building as artful as Valheim, hopefully.
• All new Bosses, Pals, Islands, and Tech – It’s what we all want, and the Palworld roadmap looks to deliver. The team are planning to dedicate themselves to expanding the game as we know it. Endless updates mean endless playability.
