Last Year’s Surprise

Last year, we were surprised by the announcement of a “spiritual successor” to the infamous Zelda CD-i games. Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore is set to release digitally on 14th February.

An Exciting Adventure

Developed by Seedy Eye Software and published by Limited Run Games, Arzette takes players on a journey to save the kingdom of Faramore from the evil demon king Daimur.

Featuring CD-i-style animated cutscenes and voice acting from Jeffrey Rath and Bonniejean Wilbur, the game promises to deliver all the nostalgia with bright, blocky platforming included.

Collector’s Edition and Standard Physical Edition

For those interested in bonus goodies, the physical Collector’s Edition of Arzette will include an art book, acrylic standee, world map, physical soundtrack, and pin in a CD-i-inspired box. There will also be a standard physical edition without the extras. Both editions will be available for pre-order on the Limited Run Games website from 2nd February, the same day digital pre-orders open.

Physical Merch and Pre-Order Availability

In addition to the game, Limited Run Games is offering a separate line of physical merchandise including a vinyl soundtrack, clothing, and a CD-i-style Switch controller priced at $39.99. Pre-orders for these items will also open on 2nd February and close on 17th March.
