Where to find Eikthyrdeer Terra in Palworld

Eikthyrdeer is a common mount for players in the starting area, but did you know there’s an upgraded version available? If you’re interested in obtaining your own Eikthyrdeer Terra, here’s how you can find and catch one in Palworld.

The first challenge you’ll encounter is locating the Eikthyrdeer Terra. These elusive creatures can only be found on a small island to the south, as shown in the image above. However, the island is a wildlife sanctuary, so the moment you set foot on it, you’ll attract unwelcome attention from gun-wielding guards. There is a way to circumvent this, though.

If you arrive on the island riding a Pal and never dismount, the guards will leave you alone. This allows you to attack and even use a gun while riding your mount. As long as your feet don’t touch the ground, you’ll be safe. If your flying mount runs out of stamina, you can glide along the ground to replenish it.

How to catch Eikthyrdeer Terra in Palworld

As the sanctuary is small, you should have no trouble finding an Eikthyrdeer Terra. Use a Flying Pal, such as a Nitewing or Beakeon, to weaken the Eikthyrdeer Terra and then throw Pal Spheres to capture it. While the catch rate for Eikthyrdeer Terra may be low, using higher grade Pal Spheres like Mega Spheres can increase your chances of success.

Once you’ve captured your prize, feel free to explore the island, even though there isn’t much to see and no Fast Travel point available.

What’s the difference between Eikthyrdeer and Eikthyrdeer Terra?

Aside from the different color scheme, both Eikthyrdeer and Eikthyrdeer Terra share similar LV2 Lumbering stats. The primary distinction lies in their typing, with Eikthyrdeer categorized as Neutral, and the Terra variant as Ground.
