Enshrouded: How to get Sparks

If you’re looking to fast travel to difficult-to-reach areas or establish a new main base in the wilderness of Embervale, then acquiring Sparks is essential in Enshrouded. Sparks are the most important resource for strengthening your Flame Altar, which in turn increases the number of Flame Altars you can build, the time you can spend in the Shroud, and the Shroud levels you can traverse. The good news is that Sparks can be found everywhere!

As you explore the world, you’ll come across Flame Shrines containing the Sparks needed to upgrade your Flame Altar. These shrines can be found across the entire Embervale map. Additionally, there are more secluded Flame Sanctums that require completing a mini-dungeon to obtain Sparks. However, Flame Shrines will be your main source of Sparks due to their accessibility.

The best way to find Flame Shrines is to explore the area. Reading scrolls can reveal the location of Flame Shrines, but using your Glider will give you a better vantage point. Gliding across the open field may lead you to a ground-level Flame Shrine. When you find one, interact with the Flame to obtain a Spark.
