The anticipated release date for Apex Legends Season 20 is February 13, 2024, at 10AM PT, based on the in-game battle pass timer from Season 19.

New Content in Apex Legends Season 20

  • New Legend Upgrade System – EVO earned during a match now enhances your legend’s shields and upgrade paths specifically for that match and in certain Battle Royale modes.
  • Legend Armor – This replaces body shield pickups and allows each Legend to have a core armor stat that can be swapped out during the game, activating a brief shield Overcharge window when upgrading to a higher armor core.
  • New Ways to Earn EVO – Including dealing damage, reviving, and wiping squads.
  • EVO Harvesters – Floor items that passively earn EVO while interacting with them.
  • Changes to Ranked – Minimum level requirement reduced to 20, increased focus on eliminations, and increased Streak and Matchmaker bonuses.
  • Ranked Matchmaking Changes – Matching players with similar RP levels rather than rank.
  • Mixtape Map (Thunderdome)
  • 120Hz Performance Mode for next-gen consoles.
  • Breakout Rewards to earn items for new Legends throughout the season.
  • 5th Anniversary LTM and Rewards

Besides the confirmed new content, there is speculation about additional updates and changes that might come with Season 20.
