Sand Land Demo Now Available on Multiple Platforms


Sand Land, the highly anticipated video game adaptation of Akira Toriyama’s popular manga series, is now offering a demo version for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PS4, and Steam. The full game is set to launch in April, giving players a taste of the post-apocalyptic desert world where water is scarce. In this game, players assume the role of Beelzebub, also known as the Fiend Prince, as he embarks on a journey with a diverse group of adventurers to uncover the hidden Legendary Spring.

Gameplay Overview


Sand Land, developed by ILCA, Inc. (known for their work on Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl), is an action-RPG that emphasizes vehicular action. Players have the freedom to customize their own tanks, motorbikes, and other means of transportation by swapping out weapons, engines, and suspension components to navigate the world and engage adversaries.

Features of the Demo


Bandai Namco has announced that the Sand Land demo offers a glimpse into the game by granting access to a limited section of the map, three playable characters – Beelzebub, Rao, and Thief – and showcases gameplay involving Battle Tank, Battle Armour, and Motorbike. While progress from the demo won’t carry over to the full release, starting the complete game with saved demo data unlocks bonus resources like 30 B-Grade Steel and 30 B-Grade Bolt to enhance vehicles upon reaching Spino in the story.


The demo for Sand Land is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam, with the full game scheduled to launch on April 26th. This game, based on a manga that originally debuted in 2000, is gaining popularity once again with an upcoming anime adaptation airing on Disney Plus and Hulu starting March 20th.
