Along with the announcement of the title, the first trailer for the game has also been released, giving players a glimpse into what they can expect. The game is set to be released in 2025.

Meet the Characters

The game will follow the adventures of Captain America and Black Panther Azzuri, who is actually the grandfather of T’Challa. The trailer showcases their shared mission of taking down the Nazis/Hydra, each driven by their own personal motivations. Despite coming from different backgrounds, both characters clash due to their differing approaches. Additionally, players will also take on the roles of Gabriel Jones of the Howling Commandos and Wakanda spy leader Nanali, further expanding the cast of characters in Marvel 1943.

Gameplay Details

Marvel 1943 offers a linear single-player experience, allowing players to step into the shoes of all four characters throughout the game. This unique gameplay mechanic provides diverse perspectives on the narrative and the ongoing war. The project is spearheaded by Skydance president Amy Hennig, who is renowned for her work as the lead writer of the Uncharted series.

The release platforms for Marvel 1943 are currently unknown, adding to the anticipation surrounding the game. For more insights into the storytelling approach of Skydance, be sure to check out our exclusive 2022 interview feature with Amy Hennig and Skydance’s story consultant, Marc Bernardin.
