PSN is Back Online and Running Smoothly

We are thrilled to announce that following the outage on March 21, 2024, PSN is now up and running without any issues.

Current Status of PSN

Fortunately, PSN is currently operating without any disruptions. If there are any changes in the future, we will provide updates on this page to keep you informed.

Previous PSN Outage Details

The outage began at 09:51 PST / 12:51 EST / 16:51 GMT and affected PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, and web services. Users experienced errors across account management, gaming and social features, PlayStation Video, PlayStation Store, and PlayStation Direct.

Regions such as the US, the UK, Australia, Japan, and Europe were impacted by the outage, indicating a potentially global issue.

Users were unable to launch games or access network features, with notifications acknowledging the ongoing issues in various areas of the PlayStation ecosystem.

We have confirmed the outage across different platforms, including the inability to go online in games or access the PS Store on web and mobile. Despite these challenges, certain users reported normal access to the PlayStation Store on PS5.

Reports on Down Detector show a surge in PlayStation Network issues, especially during peak hours when users in Europe are looking to unwind with some gaming.

Due to the extensive nature of the outage, users may face difficulties with activities such as redeeming codes, purchasing games, or participating in online gameplay. This timing coincides with the upcoming releases of Rise of the Ronin and Dragon’s Dogma 2, potentially affecting users’ ability to prepare for these new games.

Without an official timeline for a resolution from Sony or PlayStation, users may need to wait patiently until the services are fully restored. We will continue to update this page with any new information regarding the outage, fixes, and restoration of online services.
