How to Join the PTR and Play Diablo 4 Season 4 Early

Experience new nightmares and get a sneak peek at the future of the Blizzard franchise by joining the Public Test Realm (PTR) for Diablo 4 Season 4. Here is a guide on how to install and join the PTR to play the latest season of Diablo 4 before its official release.

  • Open up your Battle.net client and select Diablo 4 from your Games list.
  • Click the selector above the Play button and select “Public Test Realm”.
  • You will be prompted to install the PTR client. Do so and then click Play when the download finishes.
  • After launching the game, pick any of the available Test Servers to begin your run.
  • Create a new character as you would for any new season and enjoy what Season 4 has to offer!

Whether you are a long-time player of Diablo 4 or a newcomer entering the world of Sanctuary through Game Pass, you can participate in Season 4’s PTR. This will give you a chance to provide valuable feedback to Blizzard as they prepare for the upcoming season launch in May. The PTR will be available from April 2 to April 9, 2024.

Season 4 of Diablo 4 will introduce new features such as the Tempering system, a revamped Helltide experience, The Pit of Artificers, and more. Players can share their feedback with Blizzard through the Diablo 4 forums or use the in-game feedback tool during the PTR testing period.
