Cat Quest returns for adorable high seas RPG adventure this August

Exciting News for Cat Quest Fans!

If you’re a fan of the adorable quick-fire action-RPG series Cat Quest by developer The Gentlebros, you’re in for a treat. The next installment, Cat Quest 3: Pirates of the Purribean, is set to release on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and Steam on 8th August. Even better, a demo is available now for Switch users.

A Swashbuckling Adventure Awaits

In Cat Quest 3: Pirates of the Purribean, players will take on the role of a swashbuckling “purrivateer” exploring the game’s titular archipelago in search of the long-lost Northern Star treasure. Prepare to battle against the fearsome Pirate King and his Pi-rat minions, navigate through varied dungeons and biomes, and experience a thrilling open-world adventure both on land and at sea.

More of the Same, But Better

While Pirates of the Purribean may not seem like a radical departure from its predecessors, fans can expect the same delightful mix of real-time combat, dungeon crawling, and equipment progression that made the series a hit. The Gentlebros have promised refinements to the gameplay, including a newly refined combat system with tighter attack combos and weapon swapping options. And don’t forget, you can choose to play solo or team up with a friend for a co-operative experience.
