Exciting news for fans of The Witcher series as CD Projekt Red has unveiled a playtest version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt‘s official mod editor on Steam.

Last November, the studio announced the development of REDkit, an official mod editor for PC that would allow players to create their own experiences within the game. This tool would enable users to craft new quests, characters, animations, and more, providing unparalleled flexibility for customization.

While the official release date for REDkit is set for 2024, Steam users can now download the playtest version for free. Simply visit The Witcher 3 REDkit official Steam page, request access, and you’ll receive an email notification once you are approved to participate.
