Celebrate the cars that are blurring the line between production road cars and high-end racecars in the latest Forza Motorsport Update. Expand your garage with track-worthy machines and put them to the ultimate test in special events across Career, Multiplayer, and Rivals.
The Update is set to roll out for download starting Monday, May 13 at 10:00 AM PT / 5:00 PM UTC on Xbox Series X|S and PC via the Microsoft Store and Steam. Spotlight cars and new in-game events will begin on Wednesday, May 15 at 5:00 PM PT (12:00 AM UTC on Thursday, May 16).
Game Improvements and Release Notes
Today’s update introduces new fixes and experience improvements to Forza Motorsport, including tweaks to Safety Ratings in Featured Multiplayer, a gloss-matte slider in the Livery Editor, a new Tire Wear scale option for Free Play and Private Multiplayer, and changes to Drivatar AI braking behavior.

Mobil Celebrates 50th Anniversary with Forza Motorsport
In celebration of its 50-year anniversary, Forza Motorsport has partnered with Mobil 1 to bring exciting in-game Rivals events starting this summer. The iconic Maple Valley has been updated to “Mobil 1 Presents Maple Valley,” featuring new track signage with Mobil 1 branding.
Career Tour – Track Toys Tour
The Track Toys Tour offers a chance to test high-performance cars on the racetrack. Compete in single-make race series with cars like the Ginetta G40 Junior, Porsche Cayman GTS, Caterham R500, and Elemental RP1. Complete all 4 series in the Track Toys Tour to receive the ultimate racing warrior, the 2019 Porsche #70 Porsche Motorsport 935.
Spotlight Cars and VIP Discounts
Spotlight cars are featured in the Showroom every week with temporary 30% discounts for in-game credits. VIP Members also receive exclusive discounts on select cars, including the 2014 BAC Mono. VIP Members can look forward to weekly exclusive discounts on cars in the Showroom.
Open Class Tour – Track Cars
The Open Class Tour offers new events and a reward car in each update of Forza Motorsport. Enter the tour with your favorite cars and continue leveling up and upgrading them across different classes. Complete the Open Class Tour in Update 8 to receive the 2011 BMW 1 Series M Coupe.
Featured Multiplayer – Spec and Open Series
Featured Multiplayer introduces tweaks to Safety Ratings, an updated matchmaking algorithm, and changes to the Forza GT Series with more updates planned for summer. Upcoming events in Featured Multiplayer include Lotus 3-Eleven Spec Series, Early Factory Racecar Series, Mazda Miata Spec Series, and Modern Factory Racecar Series.
Featured Rivals
Compete in this month’s Featured Spec Rivals event and set your fastest lap times. Challenge yourself with the McLaren Senna at Silverstone – Grand Prix Circuit in a special Rivals event later in the month. Every week, a new Spotlight Rivals event will test your skills in the latest Spotlight car.
