The Time of Awakening is here! Amazon Games’ Springtime Bloom event for New World is finally live, and it brings a flurry of new rewards and activities for you to unlock while it’s active. During this time, you’ll work with the Bloom Herald to investigate the alarming number of mysterious Wispybloom infestations that have been happening. If things turn for the worst, the infestation could spread throughout Aeternum.

The Springtime Bloom event basically invites you to collect the Springtide’s fruitful bounty of event-exclusive rewards. By helping the enigmatic Bloom Herald, you can unravel the mysteries of the Wispybloom. Let’s look at what you can expect for New World’s latest event, shall we?

What to Do

First off, you’ll need to know the requirements. Your character must be level 20 to pick up the event quest. If you qualify, go to a Springtide Village. The villages can be found in Brightwood, Monarch’s Bluff, Wavers Fen, and Everfall.

To begin the quest, you must craft Witzy Spritz potions; these will be used to lure Wispy Wasps into a blast radius, letting you collect Wispy Wasp Goo. Then, turn in the goo you’ve collected to the Bloom Herald in exchange for Springtide Tokens. Springtide Tokens are the main currency for the event, and it can be used to purchase rewards from the Event Shop. For starters, you can redeem the Wispytreant Logging Axe skin, Whispy Wasp Glider skin, and more from the shop.

If you’re itching to earn more Springtide Tokens, additional rewards can be earned through Prismabloom Harvests, Springtide Centerpieces, and Party Bags.

Prismabloom Harvests

Whenever you harvest Prismablooms throughout Aeternum, you’ll have a chance to obtain special rewards in addition to the usual Prismabloom resources. Special Prismabloom Harvest nodes will spawn around the world, giving you a perfect chance to harvest resources and tokens.

Here’s what you can get from the Prismabloom Harvests:

  • Springtide Tokens – 75% Drop Rate (limited to ten per day)
  • Premium Springtide Tokens – 5% Drop Rate (limited to one per day)

Springtide Centerpieces

Each Settlement has its own decorated Springtide Centerpiece, surrounded by abundant colorful baskets. You can loot the Centerpieces you find in these Settlements once per day. It will yield the following rewards:

  • 25 Event Reputation – 100% Drop Rate
  • Diamon Gypsum – 100% Drop Rate (you must be at least level 60, and this is limited to six per day)
  • 1-3 Wispy Spritz – 100% Drop Rate

You also have the chance to receive rewards with lower drop rates, such as:

  • 1 Springtide Crumble – 11% Drop Rate, temporarily increases Constitution
  • 1 Springtide Dram – 33% Drop Rate, temporarily increases Luck
  • 1 Springtide Wafer – 22% Drop Rate, temporarily increases the Wispyblooms you can harvest
  • 1-3 Dyes – 66% Drop Rate
  • 1-5 Additional Wispy Spritz – 100% Drop Rate

Party Bags

Each village has a Party Bag pile you can loot once per day. Four Party Bags are scattered worldwide, and they all reset at 5 AM (your local time).

Here’s the loot you can get from the Party Bags:

  • 50 Event Reputation – 100% Drop Rate
  • Springtide Token – 100% Drop Rate
  • Springtide Coinbag – 100% Drop Rate
  • Springtide Pattern – 1.5% Drop Rate

Upgrading the Event Shop is Worth Doing

You can purchase most of the good stuff in the Event Shop with Springtide Tokens. If you’re a sucker for free rewards, gaining Event Reputation to rank up and increase the selection of your Event Shop is absolutely worth doing. Here are all the things you can get from each rank:

Rank 1 Rewards

All rewards from this rank cost 5 Springtide Tokens each.

  • Springtide Crumble – Temporarily increases Constitution

Springtime Bloom Event Duration
