One of the most exciting aspects of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the exploration of all of Hyrule’s corners, from its dark Depths to its sunny skies. Unique armor sets dotted throughout the game also make for rewarding hunting. One of these is the Tunic of the Sky, which invokes previous Zelda titles and is ideal for fans looking for throwback items. Our guide reveals how to find this legendary equipment piece.

Finding the Tunic of the Sky in Tears of the Kingdom

All the components of the Sky armor set, including the Tunic of the Sky, are concealed in the Depths. If you haven’t already explored the area, check out how to locate Lightroot and do so before moving forward with this mission.

To discover the Tunic of the Sky, you must visit Minshi Grove in the Depths. Heading to Minshi Woods Chasm in the overworld is the most direct way to access it, a short way north of Woodland Stable. The map image pictured below demonstrates its coordinates.

Once Minshi Woods Chasm is reached, leap into it and float downward to the Depths. As you go down, start shifting southward. Head towards Uihcoke Lightroot, resembling a shining corn kernel, which is situated towards that direction. You will be able to reach it before touching the ground for the majority of the trip. You can fast travel to it whenever needed after activating the Lightroot.

From Uihcoke Lightroot, move in a northerly direction. You should be able to spot the deteriorated remains of a large stump. The map shown below indicates the spot of the said stump.

The shrine is positioned on a platform high enough that you can leap forward and then glide to the stump, which appears like a saucer with raised edges. There is a large tree standing near the chest, and there are fireflies flitting about.

Approach the chest and watch out for the Evermean enemy masquerading as a tree. Employ a bladed weapon to defeat this enemy. Finally, unlock the treasure chest and acquire the Tunic of the Sky.
