In a surprising turn of events, Hi-Fi Rush, a standout game of the year, is receiving a free update that promises to keep players engaged with its fresh new features and game modes.

Scheduled to launch on July 5, the “Arcade Challenge! Update!” introduces two thrilling game modes that become accessible after players have completed the main game. An exciting addition is a new arcade cabinet that conveniently appears in the hideout, allowing players to access these modes.

BPM Rush, the first new mode, dares players to face waves of enemies while dealing with the escalating beats per minute. As each level progresses, the tempo gradually rises, reaching an intense 200 BPM. Get ready for an electrifying challenge!

Power Up! Tower Up! is the second new mode, offering a unique twist on the original Rhythm Tower. In this remixed version, players must navigate through floors and combat waves of adversaries while gradually empowering their character, Chai. Randomized upgrades provide exciting surprises and test the players’ skill and strategy.

The update also brings exciting enhancements to the photo mode, providing players with new features to capture their favorite moments. Explore the variety of stickers, filters, and poses to personalize your snapshots. Additionally, fresh clothing unlocks for both Chai and Korsica allow players to further customize their characters, while new 808 looks and accessories add a touch of style to the game. Look out for special attacks that incorporate CNMN and Smidge, adding an extra punch to your gameplay.
