How to complete Spy in the Jungle gig in Cyberpunk 2077

When Developers Create Incredible Set Pieces: A Look at Cyberpunk 2077’s Spy in the Jungle Gig

When a development team really puts their heads down, sometimes they can come up with incredible set pieces. The Cyberpunk 2077 team is definitely one of these, and despite all its faults, the game has some areas that make you take a step back. The setting for Spy in the Jungle is one of these places in Cyberpunk 2077, and although the gig is an annoying one to complete, it does look good.

How to Complete the Spy in the Jungle Gig in Cyberpunk 2077

The first step in this Cyberpunk 2077 quest is to get to the start of the Spy in The Jungle mission. Head to the southwest of the stacks in Dogtown, and you will receive a call from Mr. Hands. He will send you to a room in which you will be hired to find a missing agent.

Head to Organitopia

Now you need to make your way up the lift to Organitopia. This is the setpiece for the whole mission and the chance for the Cyberpunk 2077 design team to flex their muscles. The whole area is a recreation of the Jurassic period, complete with dinosaurs, foliage, and cyber-enhanced mercenaries.

To get in, you will need to open some locked doors. Do this by pulling open a grill window right in front of the entrance. This requires a body of 3. Now, climb through this new opening and head to the right. You can hack the door open. This will then trigger a conversation with the agent you are looking for. He guides you through the rest of the mission.

Shoot Your Way Through

I think you can probably sneak your way through the whole Cyberpunk Spy in The Jungle gig, using the foliage and dinos to hide behind, but I went in there blasting. I completed Spy in The Jungle with brute force, not stealth. Once you have made your way to the end and everyone is dead, Bana will invite you to the final room in which the mission showdown will happen in Cyberpunk 2077.

Kill Boris ‘Spy in The Jungle’ Ribakov

"How

This is a super annoying boss fight. Not only does Boris remain mostly invisible, but he also dashes around the map and summons minions. I found that the easiest way to kill him was with a sniper rifle and quickhacks.

Don’t bother chasing Boris. Instead, wait for him to pop up to shoot you. Then, install a quickhack on him, preferably something with a long effect time on it, and clip him with as many shots as possible. Chasing him is futile.

Once he gets to 60% health, he will start to summon minions. The first set is robots that you can quickly dispatch, and the second is clones. It is best to get rid of these ASAP, as they are an annoyance. Once they are done, get back to Boris. Boris hardly ever attacked me, as usual, the Cyberpunk combat AI was useless.

He will dance and dash around, so don’t try to find him. Just ping him with a quickhack whenever he appears, and use your sniper. This is what I found to be the best method to kill Boris in Cyberpunk 2077 to complete the Spy in The Jungle gig.

The Impact of Your Decisions

The rest of this gig in Cyberpunk 2077 will have you making decisions as to how the Spy in The Jungle mission turns out. This is up to you, and you must decide how you want the mission to play out.
