Agent 47 and the Hitman franchise are back for one last job… On mobile | Pocket Gamer.biz

Feral Interactive, a leading mobile developer known for its ports of classic games, is taking on a new project in the popular Hitman series.

Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal is a mobile and Nintendo Switch port of the original PC and console title. It is set to release in Autumn for mobile and this winter for Nintendo Switch.

The game was announced on Feral Interactive’s Twitter account and accompanied by a trailer that showcases the game’s faithful graphic adaptation and provides a preview of the on-screen controls. Like other games in the Hitman series, it revolves around the main character Agent 47, who must strategically eliminate targets using a combination of stealth and puzzle-solving.

Hitman: Blood Money is widely regarded as a standout entry in IO Interactive’s series and holds a special place in the hearts of many gamers. This port is another testament to Feral Interactive’s expertise in bringing classic PC and console titles to mobile platforms. They have previously successfully ported games like Alien Isolation.

The Rise of Feral Interactive

Feral Interactive has established itself as a trusted name in the industry by porting both niche and highly-acclaimed classic games to the mobile platform. Their most notable projects include the ports of early Total War titles like Rome: Total War and Medieval 2: Total War. Their work on Rome: Total War for PC remastered edition was particularly well-received.

Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal marks a welcome return of the Hitman series to the mobile platform. The franchise has previously made successful appearances on iOS and Android with the Hitman: Sniper series and the now-retired Hitman: Go. The Go series offered a unique and creative take on gameplay mechanics inspired by franchises like Tomb Raider and Deus Ex. Unfortunately, the closure of Square Enix Montreal in November 2022 led to the discontinuation of these titles.
