Miyamoto will be joined by Avi Arad, known for producing hit films such as Spider-Man 2 and Iron Man, along with upcoming video game adaptations like Uncharted and Borderlands.
Wes Ball, the director of the Maze Runner movies, has been confirmed as the director for this highly anticipated project. This live-action adaptation of The Legend of Zelda will be co-financed by Nintendo and Sony Pictures Entertainment, with Sony handling the theatrical distribution.
I have asked Avi-san to produce this film with me, and we have now officially started the development of the film with Nintendo itself heavily involved in the production. It will take time until its completion, but I hope you look forward to seeing it. https://t.co/2H9lzzS5Pv
