Best Heavy build in The Finals: Weapons, Gadgets, and playstyle

The Finals: Maximizing the Heavy Class

I’m not normally a Heavy class player, but I recently tried it out and found it to be quite effective. The Heavy class is great for playing aggressively and holding down key points on the map. In this guide, we’ll take a look at the best loadout for The Finals’ Heavy class, including weapons, gadgets, and playstyle.

Best Heavy Playstyles in The Finals

As mentioned, the Heavy class is all about taking and dealing damage. Despite being slow, the Heavy class can draw the attention of the enemy team, allowing your teammates to make strategic plays. The Walking Fortress build is designed to make you hard to hit while also dealing significant damage to keep your team safe. It’s particularly effective for controlling and holding key points on the map.

While the Heavy class suffers from slow movement speed, the Walking Fortress build compensates by making the player harder to take down, while also providing defense against stuns and other movement-hindering effects.

Best Weapon for the Heavy in The Finals

After experimenting with different weapons, I found the Lewis Gun to be the most effective for the Heavy class. This weapon not only deals high damage but also forces opponents to retreat, creating opportunities for your team to capitalize on the chaos.

Best Heavy Gadgets in The Finals

  • Pyro Grenade
  • RPG-7
  • Barricade

The combination of Barricade and Pyro Grenades, along with the Lewis Gun, allows the Heavy class to control and hold key points effectively. The RPG-7 also adds extra firepower, making it easier to secure cash points and keep enemies at a distance.

Specializations for the Heavy

While the Charge ‘N’ Slam perk offers fun and aggressive playstyle, the Mesh Shield specialization complements the walking fortress strategy in a more defensive manner. Coordinating attacks and movements with the Mesh Shield, Lewis Gun, and RPG-7 can create a deadly and protective strategy for the Heavy class.

It’s clear that the Heavy class in The Finals can be a force to be reckoned with when played smartly, effectively controlling the flow of the game and providing vital support to the team.

The Finals is available for free on Steam, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.
