The highly anticipated video game adaptation of Akira Toriyama’s manga, Sand Land, finally has a release date and a captivating new trailer that sets up the game’s storyline.

Sand Land is set to launch on April 26, after being initially announced during Summer Game Fest last year. The game revolves around the Fiend Prince Beelzebub, a demon summoned to overthrow a corrupt King and his Royal Army with the help of the human Sheriff Rao. Together with Beelzebub’s chaperone, Thief, the trio embarks on a quest to find the Legendary Spring, an artifact capable of ending a worldwide drought that has turned the environment into a desert.

Gameplay Features

This open-world action RPG offers players the excitement of vehicle piloting and combat. Gamers will have the opportunity to take control of various tanks and dune buggies equipped with powerful weapons like machine guns, allowing them to navigate the sand-covered terrain while taking down threats.

Platform Availability

Excitingly, Sand Land will be available on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PC, ensuring that a wide range of players will be able to experience the game.

Accompanying Animated Series

For fans who just can’t get enough of Sand Land, there is more good news. The animated series, Sand Land: The Series, which premiered in Japan last year, is set to debut worldwide exclusively on Hulu this spring. The series will feature a completely new storyline that picks up from the events of the 2023 film.
