In the vast land of Hyrule featured in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, there are countless places to discover and explore. What to Do at Gut Check Rock in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

As you venture to the northern reaches of Hyrule, you’ll eventually stumble upon Gut Check Rock. You might expect some grand challenge to await you here, considering the bold label on the map, but this landmark doesn’t offer much in the way of activities or objectives. However, that doesn’t mean it’s not worth a visit.

If you played The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you might recognize Gut Check Rock as a location that played a larger role in that game. However, in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, climbing to the top of the rock won’t reveal a hidden shrine. Instead, you can earn some treasure by using the Ultrahand ability to dig up a mostly buried chest that contains a Silver Rupee.

While Gut Check Rock might not have much to offer in terms of story content or gameplay challenges, it’s worth mentioning that there are three signs in the surrounding area that hint at the location of a Korok Seed. Solving the Red Arrow puzzles will point the way to a rock formation where you can find some flower petals and collect your reward. Additionally, there are a few enemies in the nearby vicinity that can be farmed for armor components and hot springs that can help heal your wounds.

So there you have it! Gut Check Rock might not be the highlight of your journey through Hyrule, but it’s still a memorable spot worth checking out on your travels. Don’t forget to explore the rest of the world and uncover all of its secrets.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now available exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
