Mobile Game Studio Million Victories Secures $6.5 Million in Funding

Mobile game studio Million Victories has successfully raised $6.5 million in a recent series A funding round. Eurazeo and Griffin Gaming Partners led the funding round, which comes on the heels of the studio’s success with its popular game Million Lords. The game also gained attention through a collaboration with Mr. Beast, a well-known YouTuber who hosted a contest with an $18,000 prize pool within the game.

Eurazeo’s Investment Director – Venture, Louis Bô, expressed pride in their investment with Million Victories, stating that the studio is establishing itself as a leader in the mobile gaming industry. He also believes that the innovative gameplay and captivating design of Million Lords will continue to push the boundaries of the strategy gaming genre for years to come.

Pierre Planche, Partner at Griffin Partners, added that the Million Victories team has consistently exceeded expectations and that this new funding round will help Million Lords establish leadership in the 4X strategy category.

Another Boost for the Mobile Gaming Industry in 2023

The significant amount raised by Million Victories in this funding round demonstrates that investment in the mobile game industry remains strong, despite a somewhat slow start to the year.

Co-founders of Million Victories, Benoît Ducrest and Céline Allary, expressed their excitement about the positive reception of Million Lords from fans. With this new investment, they plan to continue developing and improving the game, expand their team with strategic senior hires, including a Chief Marketing Officer and a Chief Technology Officer, and significantly increase their global marketing efforts.
