As the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC approaches its final stages, Nintendo has revealed exciting details about Wave 5 during a recent Nintendo Direct. This latest wave is expected to launch in the coming months, and fans can look forward to new courses and characters.

Wave 5 of the Booster Course Pass DLC introduces an innovative new track called the Squeaky Clean Sprint, featuring a bathroom-themed environment. Additionally, three new characters will join the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe roster. Petey Piranha, who first appeared in Mario Kart: Double Dash; Wiggler, known from Mario Kart 7; and Kamek, a character from Mario Kart Tour and the original Mario Kart 64, before being replaced by Donkey Kong, will spice up the racing experience.

Alongside the new course and characters, an additional seven courses will also be included in Wave 5 of the Booster Course Pass DLC. Unfortunately, specific details about these tracks have not been disclosed yet, leaving fans eagerly awaiting further announcements.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 5 is scheduled to launch this summer. Keep in mind that the Booster Course Pass is included with the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription plan. Alternatively, players can purchase the DLC pack independently for $25.
