Barbie pulls into Forza Horizon 5 with new Xbox collaboration

Xbox Teams Up with Warner Bros. and Mattel for Exclusive Barbie Content in Forza Horizon 5

Forza Horizon 5 players are in for a treat as Xbox, in partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures and Mattel, introduces exclusive Barbie content to the game. Two cars inspired by the upcoming Barbie film will be available to players – a classic 1956 Chevrolet Corvette EV Corvette driven by Margot Robbie’s Barbie and a 2022 GMC Hummer EV Pickup favored by Ryan Gosling’s Ken.

Both cars can be downloaded from Forza Horizon 5’s in-game Message Centre and will appear in players’ garages, ready to hit the road or track.

In a blog post, Xbox states, “Bringing Barbie’s signature flair to our gaming platform, we’re honoring all that there is to love about this iconic role model: her persevering optimism, wide-ranging career journey, and never-ending capacity for self-discovery.”

Come on Barbie, let’s go party.

In addition to the exclusive cars, Microsoft has unveiled a visually striking Barbie-inspired Xbox Series S, complete with interchangeable controller faceplates designed after “Barbie and Ken’s distinct on-screen outfits.” Expect tassels and sparkles.

“From her DreamHouse to her dream closet, Barbie’s iconic style is unmatched,” proclaims Xbox, accompanied by an image showcasing the Xbox Series S design.

Fans will have a chance to win this custom-built Series S, which has been transformed into Barbie’s DreamHouse. Keep an eye on Xbox’s Twitter feed and its Microsoft Rewards program starting from July 10th for more details.

Life in plastic, it’s fantastic.
