Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s last DLC tracks will be downloadable very soon

New DLC Coming to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!

Nintendo has exciting news for all Mario Kart fans – a new DLC is on its way! The upcoming DLC, set to be released on November 9, 2023, for the Nintendo Switch, will introduce fresh maps and characters to the popular racing game. This additional content can be obtained either through a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription or by purchasing it separately for $24.99/£22.49.

Get ready to explore eight brand new maps with the new DLC, evenly split between the Acorn Cup and the Spiny Cup. Among the highlights are the iconic Rainbow Road and Daisy Circuit from Mario Kart Wii, as well as Madrid Drive, Piranha Plant Cove, and Rome Avanti from Mario Kart Tour. Additionally, fans can look forward to the inclusion of DK Mountain from Double Dash, Rosalina’s Ice World from the 3DS, and Bowser’s Castle 3 from the SNES.

This DLC release will mark the conclusion of an outstanding program of additional content for Mario Kart 8. When the game was initially launched, it featured a track list of only 48 maps. However, thanks to the previous five DLCs, this number has now doubled to a grand total of 96 tracks.

In addition to the new maps, the DLC will also introduce four new playable characters to the game. Fans will be delighted to see the expansion of the iconic cast of drivers, with the inclusion of Diddy Kong, Pauline, Peachette, and Funky Kong.

That’s not all – players will also have the chance to enjoy new racing outfits for the MII characters and make use of a brand new Music Player feature. The Music Player will allow players to listen to music from every course during a pit stop. And if that’s not enough, there will be an unlockable Daisy racing suit exclusively available with a Daisy Amiibo.

Make sure to stay tuned for the release of this exciting DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. And while you’re at it, check out other incredible Nintendo Switch games and some cozy games to enjoy.
