Geometry Dash: Update 2.2 Insights

Geometry Dash, a seemingly straightforward rhythm-based action platformer, offers a multitude of levels and difficulty options. However, the recent Update 2.2 from RobTop Games has brought with it some surprising changes.

Geometry Dash Current Player Count

According to Steam Store charts, Geometry Dash has reached its peak player count of 88,346, with a current player count of 68,570 as of the date of this article (20th December 2023). These numbers are expected to rise, potentially surpassing the 100,000 mark in the near future.

In addition, it has secured the 18th position on the Most Played Games list, surpassing popular titles like Red Dead Redemption 2, Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, and Cyberpunk 2077. On the Top Sellers charts, it sits at the 85th position, just below GTA V: Premium Edition, overtaking titles like Octopath Traveller II, Dying Light 2, and Sons of the Forest.

Data from Steam DB and Steam Charts also shows a peak player count of 68,183 and 86,123 in the last 30 days, with 88,346 being the all-time peak in the last 13 hours from the time of writing.

These numbers, however, only reflect the player count on Steam, and don’t account for the game’s availability on Android and iOS, where it may have an even larger player base.
