Forza Motorsport is the Competitive Ground for Building Skill

Here’s how Forza Motorsport captivates players with its immersive gameplay and fosters a vibrant community through competitive skill-building. As we gear up for the release of the next installment in the beloved racing franchise, we’re excited to share our vision for the game and provide a glimpse into the first hour of gameplay that has been experienced by media and creators.

Building Skill Through Competition

Forza Motorsport has always aimed to cultivate a passionate community of car enthusiasts and gamers, and the upcoming game takes this to new heights through its focus on competition and skill. With over 500 meticulously selected cars and 20 tracks, offering dynamic time-of-day and weather effects, Forza Motorsport delivers an unparalleled racing experience.

In this game, it’s not merely about collecting all 500 cars; it’s about finding the ones that truly speak to you. We’ve designed a new gameplay loop that encourages constant learning and self-improvement while having fun on the track. You’ll become intimately familiar with a car’s characteristics, unlocking its full potential as you navigate through traffic and overtake opponents.

Even if you’re new to motorsports or racing, Forza Motorsport’s intuitive gameplay systems, such as the Car Mastery corner scoring system, Forza Race Regulations, and car building mechanics, facilitate natural learning and empower players to succeed through competition. You won’t need tutorials to grasp upgrades or speed; you’ll feel it, experiment with different approaches, and discover your own fastest line. The game provides all the necessary tools, so embrace the joy of exploration and watch your skills flourish.

Forza Motorsport is not a stagnant experience. It’s a living, interconnected platform that evolves alongside our dedicated community. We will continually introduce new races, cars, tracks, and updates, all shaped by player feedback. You won’t need to worry about massive downloads to enjoy these improvements; they will seamlessly integrate into your gameplay experience. We’ve also made numerous smaller enhancements throughout the game to assist your skill development and ensure fair competition.

As for our decision to rebuild all the tracks, this was necessitated by the advancements in our tire and suspension modeling. The improved physics created challenges with the existing tracks, resulting in the need for a complete rebuild. However, this allowed us to craft the most accurate Nordschleife experience to date, which will be available in Spring 2024.

The Intro Race Experience

When you first embark on your Forza Motorsport journey, you’ll have the opportunity to customize various game settings, including driving assists, accessibility options, and PC graphics. The opening races present you with an Open Practice lap at Maple Valley, featuring the impressive 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray, followed by the last two laps of an endurance race at Hakone, where you’ll get a taste of the 2023 No. 01 Cadillac Racing V-Series.R.

After these initial races, you are free to explore the modes that interest you most, whether it’s the Builders Cup Career Mode, Featured Multiplayer, Free Play, or Rivals. The Builders Cup serves as an introductory series that eases you into the game and prepares you for competitive racing. You’ll start with carefully selected starter cars, such as the 2019 Subaru STI S209, the 2018 Honda Civic Type R, and the 2018 Ford Mustang GT, racing them across the Grand Oak Club Circuit, Mugello Club Circuit, and Kyalami GP Circuit.

The Builders Cup Intro Series introduces you to our new car leveling and building systems. Between each race, you’ll have the opportunity to upgrade your car with unlocked performance parts and tuning options. A spider graph will assist you in understanding the car’s balance. Additionally, you can customize race options and even choose your starting placement for the Kyalami GP Featured Race using the new Challenge the Grid system. This risk-reward feature adjusts your payout based on grid position and rewards podium finishes with a bonus.

Throughout the Builders Cup Career Mode, which consists of various Tours of Motorsport, you’ll encounter a diverse range of cars and tracks. The Modern Tour showcases cars “Built for Sport” and “Super Sedans,” while the Enthusiast Tour presents “Track Specials” and “JDM Legends.” The Power Tour features iconic muscle cars and the C8 Challenge, while the Legacy Tour immerses you in the world of retro tuners and exotic speed machines. Each completed tour unlocks a special reward car, and the Career Mode also includes an Open Class Tour for players seeking creative freedom in their builds. There is also a Featured Tour that spotlights newly added cars and tracks, providing ample content for those who prefer single-player racing.
